As Founder and Coordinator of Think Green, he designs and implements sustainable initiatives that empower communities and promote environmental resilience. He spearheaded the Bottles2Bricks Initiative, transforming plastic waste into sustainable building materials for vulnerable communities, bridging innovation, inclusion, and environmental protection. A 2025 Mandela Washington Fellowship alumnus, Ahmed has represented African youth in high-level climate forums and continues to inspire a new generation of changemakers committed to sustainability, climate justice, and community empowerment.

Varina Toukam is an agro-environmentalist passionate about supporting sustainable development. With a background in agro-environmental studies, she combines her knowledge of environmental issues with strong organizational and administrative skills. As Administrative Assistant at Think Green, Varina ensures smooth daily operations by managing schedules, coordinating team activities, organizing and maintaining accurate records. She brings valuable experience in database management, and volunteer support, while also handling other ad hoc administrative tasks. Her dedication, meticulous approach, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities make her a cornerstone of Think Green’s operational success.

Mapondjou Grâce Maurine is an environmental geographer and geomatics specialist who applies geospatial technologies to address the challenges of climate change. Her expertise includes climate risk management and MRV systems (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) for greenhouse gas emissions. At Think Green, Grâce Maurine leverages her digital and visual communication skills to design and deliver engaging content that amplifies the organization’s environmental initiatives. Through creative campaigns, informative materials, and strategic content management, she connects communities, raises awareness, and inspires action for a more sustainable future.

Marcel Piim is a driven young professional passionate about sustainable development, community empowerment, and inclusive growth. With an academic background in Business, Economics, and Sustainability, he brings a strong analytical mindset and strategic perspective to his role as Programs and Community Engagement Officer at Think Green. Marcel leads the design and coordination of sustainability programs that integrate environmental protection with socioeconomic development. His expertise in program management and community mobilization enables him to turn innovative ideas into impactful, scalable initiatives.

Nawal Chetfon is a young professional passionate about writing, communication, and social engagement. Holding a Master’s degree in International Relations, she brings a global and strategic perspective to her role as Partnership and Resource Mobilization Officer at Think Green. She plays a key role in identifying funding opportunities, building donor relationships, and fostering impactful collaborations that support the organization’s environmental and youth-driven initiatives. Driven by a strong sense of justice and collective responsibility, Nawal champions the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) particularly those focused on environmental protection, quality education, and equal opportunities.
